DAY 1

Main attraction: Cua Van Fishermen Village

Things to do: Visit Cua Van Fishermen Village by rowing boat / Try your hand at MasterChef “Halong edition”

Cua Van Fisherman Village 

Cua Van floating village is exceptional as it is home to generations of fishing families and a lot of the residents never depart. It offers the opportunities to enjoy rowing boat by the local people around the village while watching how the locals live on their floating house.

Try the local rowing boat in Cua Van Fisherman Village

Soak up the stunning views of the floating village while leisurely moving along the incredible tranquil emerald-colored sea. It is the chance to experience moments in the life of the local fishermen who were born on the water.

DAY 2

Main attraction: Viet Hai Village; Ba Ham Lake

Things to do: Bike in the serene Viet Hai Village/ Kayak around Ba Ham Lake

Viet Hai Village 

Viet Hai Village is a small village with 80 households nestled in the midst of jungles and covered by high mountain range of the Cat Ba National. The villagers are natives in Halong Bay who live self-sufficiently by fishing, farming and breeding. 

Ba Ham Lake 

Ba Ham Lake is a very beautiful place for kayaking in Ha Long Bay. The lake is about 20km from Tuan Chau Marina International Port. There are three lakes connecting three tunnels together with vertical cliff which offers beautiful scenery and enjoyable kayak. All the lakes has clear water and some is surrounded by limestone and variety of marine flora, fauna and abundant underwater creatures.

Bike in the serene Viet Hai Village

Viet Hai Village is absolutely the most significant destination to visit with stunning serene surrounding. Choose your favorite way to reach the central part of Viet Hai while enjoying the beauty in the ordinary by walking, biking, or paying for a round-trip seat on a trolley.

Kayak in the tranquil Ba Ham Lake

Soaking in the incredibly pristine water of this lake, you can sense peaceful moments as Time seems to stop. The beach is a hidden gem with the picturesque appearance of the tall sea-almond tree pair, especially during the autumn.

DAY 3

Main attraction: Trung Trang Cave & Cat Ba National Park; Tra Bau Area; Vung Vieng Fishermen Village

Things to do: Tour in Trung Trang Cave and Cat Ba National Park/ Kayak in Tra Bau Area / Kayak or try out traditional rowing boat in Vung Vieng Fishermen Village

Attraction:

Trung Trang is the largest valley in Cat Ba Island. Inside the valley, there’s a cave being named the same. It takes 20-30 minutes from the Port to Trung Trang Cave. The cave spreads over 300 meters towards the mountain and is located in a high spot of the tropical green forest, which gives this place a quiet atmosphere.

Vung Vieng Fishermen Village is an ideal place for exploring the local lifestyle of sailing and fishing. Scenes of the fishing boats with nets hung out to dry and the laughter of local families give Vung Vieng an idyllic and traditional character.

Tour in Trung Trang Cave and Visit Cat Ba National Park

Among all the caves in Cat Ba Island, Trung Trang Cave stands out because of its majestic stalactites and stalagmites. The further in you go, the more unique features of Trung Trang Cave you can find such as limestone pillars and stalks when rubbing the stalk on the pillars, an interesting sound is created.

Kayak in Tra Bau Area

Not a tourist magnet, Tra Bau Area still attracts curious visitors who look for a more exotic experience in Lan Ha Bay. Here, you can feel as Time being stopped to absorb all the goodness that this place’s offered.

Kayak or try out traditional rowing boat in Vung Vieng Fishermen Village

Choose to explore the charming Vung Vieng Fishermen Village by either kayaking or rowing boat. You will not only be immersed in the peaceful location but will also be instructed in the fine arts of sailing and casting fishnets.

DAY 4

Main attraction: Cong Dam Area; Cap La Area

Things to do: Kayak in Cong Dam Area/ Swim and relax in Cap La Area

Attraction:

Cong Dam Area used to be home to a floating village, which was a small settlement of around 120 people which has largely retained its traditional culture. The environment is quite clean. The area around the village holds several lagoons and sea caves, as well as some nice beaches, such as Tra Gioi, Cay Bang, and Cat Oan.

Cap La Area is isolated from normal tourist routes so the landscape here still retains many primitive features and a very clean environment. Here a lot of coral reefs are concentrated, with underground lakes inside the limestone mountain and underwater caves.

Kayak in the mysterious water of Cong Dam Area

Nowadays, travelers can make a kayaking tour of the area to enjoy scenery. Its clear water makes itself a good area for kayaking, or you can join the local fishermen and try your luck.

Kayak in the serene Cap La Area

Travelers are able to explore the fishing village by rowing boat or kayak, and greet the residents. The tranquil air and clean water here will surely impress any guest’s expectation.

DAY 5

Main attraction: Thien Canh Son Cave

Things to do: Tai Chi on sundeck/ Visit Thien Canh Son Cave

Attraction:

Thien Canh Son Cave is a vast cavern consisting of three main chambers. The access path to the cave is hidden under forest canopy and crosses by a cliff face. Formations inside the cave come in a wide variety of shapes, and present images said to resemble a lotus, a baby elephant, seals and flowers.
